Bee Charmer Productions is a full-service audio and video production company based in Toronto, Canada, with team members and clients all over the world. As well as undertaking various audio and video projects on behalf of a wide range of clients, BCP actively develops original productions for the screen and web.
Bee Charmer Productions is headed up by Regan Latimer who assembles a bespoke team of complementary talented individuals to meet the challenges of each project.
Meet the team...
Regan Latimer is Executive Producer at Bee Charmer Productions and an independent contractor for individual clients and companies. She has created promotional films for The NOAH Project (Nurturing Orphans of AIDS for Humanity), and The Bharti Charitable Foundation as well as several promotional pieces and commericals for various clients. A post-production and editing specialist, other credits include Emmy award-winning trailers and promo spots for Colorado’s Rocky Mountain PBS and Denver Centre Media. Regan is the writer and director of the popular web series, B.J. Fletcher: Private Eye. Multi-talented in both creative and technical disciplines, Regan has served as the series’ video editor and sound designer and has managed all facets of the show's creation. Regan was also the Director/Producer of the short film Harmony Love Matches for Life Inc., an official selection at the 2008 Great Lakes Independent Film Festival.
Rochelle Dancel is a brand designer/developer and web producer responsible for creating the brands and websites of all of our original productions (as well as this website!). Rochelle holds an MA from Goldsmith's Media & Communications department and is currently the Online Marketing Specialist for ecommerce specialist PayPoint.net where she heads up their social media strategy and in-house brand design. Rochelle is also a consultant to various non-profit organisations for their online communications strategies. For BCP, Rochelle is Associate Producer on B.J. Fletcher: Private Eye and Executive Producer of the forthcoming web series, 2 Girls Kissing.
Alys Latimer is our Production Co-ordinator and Script Developer. She is a graduate of the Humber College School of Journalism and is a founding partner in Two Sistas Lighting. She is an accomplished writer and editor, with projects for the University of Guelph-Humber, Homemakers Magazine and Chocolatease Bakeries. Her exacting attention to detail and easy going style make her a valued addition to the BCP team.
Rikki Zucker is a highly skilled, extremely professional makeup artist and licensed hairstylist who has been solidly working in and around Toronto for the past seven years. She holds a B.F.A. from York University as well as a certificate in Make-up Artistry from Seneca College, as well as a diploma and award of excellence in hair design from Marca College. Recently Rikki has had work published in several magazines (Life and Fashion, Snaggletooth, Element) as well as completed a shoot with musician Ashley MacIssac for his latest CD cover. Her credits include being key makeup artist on many independent films as well as working as a daily assistant on such major releases as The Hulk, the remake of Dawn of The Dead, Cold Creek Manor and How to Deal.
Jonathan Thomas is an actor, singer, freelance photographer, and designer. Jonathan has appeared in several of Regan Latimer's films, including the short film Harmony Love Matches for Life Inc. which debuted at the 2008 Great Lakes Independent Film Festival where it was nominated for Best Gay/Lesbian Short Film. Theatre credits include The Fantasticks for Encore Entertainment and Hay Fever for Theatre Alumnae. Jonathan also acts as production photographer on B.J. Fletcher: Private Eye.
Sean Tasson is an actor, dancer, performer, production manager and graphic artist. Sean has appeared in The Curious Savage, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Stepping Out, and Babe Ruth Comes to Pickle River to name a few. Sean also originated roles in three Canadian plays. In addition to his work on the stage (his first love), Sean has appeared on television in a few CBC productions and in several Regan Latimer projects.
